Uthelina is a spacious home of three bedrooms corresponding to BookingCom description. There is plenty of room to move around for up to 6 persons (we were 2). The fast WiFi works perfectly. The ACs (One / bedroom) are quiet and efficient. The living space has fans. The beds are comfortable and large! The home is very clean.
Tricia was very friendly, attentive and quick reacting to any questions. She gave us personally the keys and information on our evening arrival. Her husband was very friendly too. We had a nice chat with him the day we departed.
We enjoyed the little back yard with the grill. I am sure it will be a bit nicer arranged at some point. A washing machine and clothes' drying lines in the yard are also at your disposal. You have got plenty of kitchen ware. The cooker / hob / oven uses propane gas.
You can park in front of the property. The property is all fenced. The location is great to discover all the north. Speightstown is just 4 min. away by car. You do need a car as walking could be adventurous. The property is one of the many local houses with nice neighbors next to you. There are even Barbados sheeps and unfortunately rosters waking you up a 4 am...
Tap water is drinkable all across the island, it is soft and very safe to enjoy. It also saves you on carrying loads of bottles and is part of protecting the environment too. There are exceptions, but an governmental effort is clearly done to manage the trashes, although there are no selective trash collection on the island.
Our BookingCom reservation said we could pay with American Express and Visa, but it was not the case. We had to arrange for cash as PayPal was not working either.
We did have difficulties with lightning the oven - would need to be fixed at some point. Hot water is only in the shower - the water pressure is rather average. There are no real view from any of the windows.
