It was like stepping back into time. It smelled like my grandparents home when I was young. I loved reading the old magazine and the book about the place. Nostalgia overload and it was excellent! Bonus for us, my niece's house is 3 houses from our cabin so walking was convenient!
My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

The atmosphere is awesome and without a TV, we paid more attention to each other than anything else. You could have eaten off the floors. there is also a garden with a fountain that is just beautiful.

I loved how it’s been refreshed without losing the historical charm. A positive for me was no WiFi, TV, and an amazing hummingbird/butterfly garden.
