Apartamento costero Atardecer dorado

My wife and I were met at the complex gate by the owners daughter and her partner, who were wonderful. The couple gave us a superb run down on the use of equipment and setting of house alarms. We stayed at a different apartment, a little cheaper, on the same complex last November, so knew what to expect and our way around the area. That apartment was unavailable for this booking and lucky for us we chose this one. This apartment is awesome and we would gladly return. Supermarkets are at both the south and the north exit gates to the complex with numerous restaurants and bars around. We are not into the bar scene, but we enjoyed nice walks to Las Galletas to do some shopping and superb meals at the sea front restaurants. We had an early pick up at 6:00 am and the owner, Sandra, a lovely lady, was kind enough to meet us at the complex gate at 5:45 am in order to hand the keys back. Both my wife and I intend to visit again later in the year for an extended period.

The area Costa Del Silencio is rather tired and could do with a generous cash injection to bring it up to the standards of other resorts of Tenerife. Having said that; it is quiet, peaceful with wonderful locals and great food. My wife and I liked it.

I've been excited to do this review ever since we stepped into 502 Ten Bel. My husband and I had 8 nights in this apartment and we enjoyed every second of it. It's the perfect location for a quiet vacation to rest and relax with the option of having dinner out if you’d like. We visited a few of the local restaurants, with a special mention to The Himalayan Indian restaurant which is a 5 min walk from the apartment. The pool was great, mostly Spanish local people and the best bit is you never have to deal with sunbed wars! This apartment has as you will see from the photos a beautiful balcony which is a perfect sun trap, especially in the afternoon when the sun is at its hottest. The apartment has everything you'll need including a coffee machine which we made use of every day! The bed was super comfortable, air-conditioning and great wi-fi. Decent size TV and comfy sofa - perfect for two people! Great bathroom, powerful shower with a washing machine. There are 2 supermarkets, both right by the complex, which have everything you need. We had an amazing time and I'm pretty sure we will visit again, perhaps next time with the in-laws! Thank you so much to the owners, they were extremely welcoming and attentive, and I highly recommend this apartment!

The only downside was the poor drainage - when you have a shower it takes a long time for the water to drain away, but that can't be changed and is probably the same in the entire complex. If you are coming from the UK and use hair appliances, dont use your own hairdryer. I did, and I'm pretty sure it was the reason for blowing the fuse box! There's a decent one in the bathroom, you just might find it slightly less powerful than your own due to the voltage differences.
