Sundaras Infinity Jungle Resort & Spa

It’s a beautiful resort, with a very nice pool and delicious food. We really loved the hoppers during happy hour, and the grounds are impeccable.

It was very busy when we arrived and never actually got to check in. They gave us a room that backed the kitchen, and said we would check in at another time. They did move us upstairs the next day to a nicer room, but that meant we had to pack up everything and move our luggage… And lost our welcome fruit in the moving process as it wasn’t moved for us along with the suitcases 😞. I do wish the used beach towels were collected more frequently, as there were really never any empty chairs around the pool to make use of… they all had towels on them. Perhaps if there was a sign around the pool with a basket that said to please deposit your used beach towels here when done using the pool, it would’ve been helpful. I also wish the Jets were turned on in the tub at the top of the pool. We did get them turned on one evening when we requested it, but there was an electrical problem apparently the next night, and they were not able to be turned on. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Amazing place to stay, our room was very spacious and nice with a balcony. Siddu gave us a great welcome and checked on us during our stay and at checkout. The welcome drink, pool and pool area was very nice. Tito was also lovely and helped us with our bags.

It was a lovely property in a great location

One of our kids hurt themselves on broken tile/grout in the pool and jacuzzi area very badly. This needs to get fixed. I read other review with the same feedback and was worried about this. That’s the main drawback of the rating.

The restaurant and pool area looked lovely and the staff did make some efforts to help, including giving us a room to shower in after checkout.

Unfortunately, the stay was very poorly organised. When we arrived we were told there were no rooms available despite having a confirmed booking, so we were moved to a different guest house across the road. This was particularly confusing as a room still appeared to be available on Booking.com, and the same hotel also seemed to be listed under multiple different names. We were offered help with our bags the following morning, but after messaging we were told someone was coming and nobody ever arrived. The room we were later given to shower in was one of the hotel’s actual rooms and was filthy, with mould/stains on the ceiling and parts of the walls peeling away. Although the pool area looked nice, the pool itself was dirty. Food and drinks were extremely expensive — comparable to restaurant prices in Europe but without the quality to justify them — and breakfast was served cold. We also arranged a massage through the hotel and were told it was fine, only to be told around 30 minutes beforehand that it couldn’t happen. We ended up going to the massage place opposite, which was brilliant and around half the price.
