Our stay at Handhuvaru Maldives was nothing short of exceptional - an experience defined by genuine hospitality, effortless organisation and remarkable attention to detail.
From the very first interaction, Mohamed set the tone for what would become a truly seamless and memorable stay. Every question was answered with care and precision, and every element of our journey - from transfers to the perfectly timed island arrival - was flawlessly arranged. His level of dedication and generosity is rare and it made us feel valued long before we even arrived.
The property itself is beautifully designed. It is still very new, intimate and thoughtfully curated. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt an immediate sense of comfort and calm. The warm welcome by Mohamed and Nassu, along with a carefully chosen and deeply meaningful gift, added a personal touch that stayed with us throughout our journey. Even beyond the island, the piece we brought with us continues to spark admiration and conversation.
Culinary experiences were a true highlight. Chef Shuvan is nothing short of outstanding each dish crafted with care, flavour, and flexibility. Every meal felt personalised, generous, and indulgent. It’s safe to say we enjoyed every bite - perhaps a little too much. My daughter, in particular, was delighted to have her favourite dishes prepared with such attention and joy.
Nassu, as both snorkelling and diving instructor, elevated every experience with his calm professionalism and natural warmth. Whether exploring the underwater world or simply enjoying time on the water, he ensured every moment felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. His kindness and playful spirit made a lasting impression—especially on my daughter, who absolutely loved their time together.
What truly sets this place apart is the people. There is an authenticity, a generosity of spirit, and a sense of connection that cannot be manufactured.

Magnifique séjour, cette île est une perle rare. Nous avions la plage avec l’eau turquoise pour nous tous seuls. Les chambres sont confortables et propres. La cuisines est bonne. Je recommande fortement. Nous avons été très bien accueilli du début à la fin. Le gérant nous a même offert un dîner romantique au bord de plage pour notre dernière soirée ainsi que des petits souvenirs pour notre départ. Le transfert c’est très bien passée, 4 heures de speed boat ( attention pour ceux qui ont le mal de mer).

This was our first trip to the Maldives, and I am very happy that we were guests at Handhuvaru Hotel.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with a very beautiful bouquet made of shells and treated to a fresh coconut. The food was prepared fresh and individually for each guest. I truly enjoyed everything that the hotel’s chef prepared.
The beach is large and clean, only 3 minutes away from the hotel.
The rooms are very clean and modern. There is everything needed for guests’ comfort. The hotel offers different excursions, and we are very happy that we joined one and visited a nearby island. There we saw a sea turtle and dolphins.
The hotel staff organized a BBQ party for us in honor of the New Year (for free), and it was amazing. We had a great evening, and they also treated us with a cake.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel for all 12 days. Everything was organized at the highest level. At the end of our stay, the manager gave us a beautiful collectible wooden boat as a gift. I would like to thank the management and the staff for making this holiday the best and truly unforgettable.
