The property is lovely: nice house which is spacious and well-equipped, beautiful location, great pool, attractive grounds. The owner is extremely helpful and attentive. However, it is not, as we expected, in Stoupa and a 2-minute walk to the beach. It is set in the countryside, only reachable by driving up narrow windy roads. The owner tells us that this is the fault of VRBO as she provided the correct information. We were very disappointed as we had hired a large vehicle which was totally unsuitable for the location and we really had looked forward to being able to walk to beaches or to restaurants in the evening. In fact we damaged the hire car trying to negotiate the parking area.We will not use VRBO to book a holiday home in future because we won’t feel we can trust the information.
