Wake up to peaceful water views, spend your days boating, fishing or swimming right from the dock, and unwind at night in the hot tub under the stars. Whether you’re here to relax or reconnect, this home offers space, comfort, and the best of lake living.
The Cove House is just that, situated in a peaceful quiet cove with no thru-boaters & no docks across the lake (preserved land). Swim across the lake to the sandy beach to swim and float off the edge of the dock. It's truly a quiet oasis and perfect for a week or weekend with family & friends.
Past renters have found that the cove house is the best kept secret for those who love to fish and have caught very LARGE fish right off the end of our dock.

The Cove House is located just 5 minutes off of I-85North. The home has its own driveway with 2 covered parking spots under a covered car-port but plenty of room for 4-6 cars to park in the driveway if needed. Please note - The road leading to our property is a gravel road. The closed-in garage is currently closed off/locked for owners storage.
Other things to note
It’s important to note that this is our personal vacation home, not solely a rental property. You will have full access to the dock, parking under the covered portion of the dock and both sides to park a rental boat or your own boat, however we ask that unless requested otherwise use of the boat lift is not permitted. (If used improperly it is costly to fix and can be dangerous if played with -- there will be a lock on it).
New Dock floats as of Fall 2022, Completely new dock Ramp installed March of 2023 and New Dock Trex Flooring installed March of 2023.

We rented this property for the weekend of Rock the Country in nearby Anderson, SC. The property is beautiful. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. There is a gravel road leading to the house. We had a easy check-in and the owner is very quick and responsive to messages/concerns. The hot tub was big and clean. Easy walk up and down to the boat slip. We swam in the lake and the water was nice. The only unexpected concern we had at check-in was that we were under the impression from the pictures on the listing that there were 3 bedrooms plus the downstairs area with the bunkbeds. But we were able to make it work because of the pull-out couch in the main livingroom. Beds were comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms were really clean. There were plenty of towels available for our use. The 2 refrigerators were very convenient. Other than that, the handle on the sliding glass door was loose due to a stripped out screw and the shower water pressure was a little weaker than we prefer. The property is close to plenty of food places and it was a quick commute from there to Anderson for the festival both days. Overall, we were very happy with this property and would definitely book here again in the future.
