Set in the middle of a park-like garden with a pond that spans over 6,000 square meters is this cozy 90-square-meter garden house.
The garden house, with its half-timbered facade, is part of a complex of historic cottages. The garden is secluded behind a wall. The cottage has two bedrooms and a loft, accommodating a total of 6 guests. Upstairs is a large living room. On the first floor is the kitchen-diner—equipped with a dishwasher—and the bathroom. The washing machine is located in a separate room next to the furnace.
The house is furnished in a rustic style. The abundance of wood and the plastered interior walls make it cozy. The kitchen-dining area, with its wood-burning stove, is inviting in every season. In the summer, the outdoor area is especially appealing. Chairs, tables, and a fire pit are available for this purpose. Upstairs, there is a spacious living room and two comfortable bedrooms that face the garden. From the living room, a ladder leads to the loft, where two more people can sleep.
Lassan is situated on the Peenestrom. It is a charming little town in Western Pomerania with houses in many colors. The town borders directly on the Usedom Nature Park. The Vorwerk district is a former estate village. Shopping on foot is easy. The Lassan area is just right for those seeking a quiet vacation in the fresh sea air and sunny Usedom weather, without the daily hustle and bustle of the beach or traffic jams on the island.
The Vorwerk district is a former estate village, right on the outskirts of Lassan, a small town with a harbor. Lassan itself is situated on the banks of the Peene River, which is about 300 m from the house. Shopping on foot is easy. A “Hacken-Porsche” (with a compartment for frozen foods!) is available for this purpose. You can enjoy wonderful walks right from the house. You can also go by bike. Right next door, you can rent bikes at usedomrad.de.
A special feature is the secluded garden, which features a garden shed and a rowboat you can use to take a leisurely cruise across the pond.

You can also cast a line in the garden. And then the fish—roach, zander, cod, or even a rudd—can go straight onto the grill.
