The location was lovely and the cottage was nice and cosy.
The TV didn’t work properly and the shower was difficult to get to the right temperature

Great location for the purpose of our trip, parking space a bonus to save hassle, easy to offload and park up. Rear garden a sun trap a bonus to relax and couldn't hear the road at all. Communication from the owners really good and detailed. Plenty of space downstairs and large shower great with good hot water.
Door to bedroom a little skinny but managed, kitchen layout a little odd but everything worked fine. Couldn't find a toaster if there is / was one? Bed a little soft for our liking but depends on personal preference, better than too hard :).

The location was perfect for our needs and the small enclosed garden was a bonus for my sisters collie. He loved it!
We had perfect weather to sit out on the patio and soak up the sun.
The bedroom configuration was a little odd, but surmountable.

It was in a good position for lots of walks and easy to Manchester.
It was very dark….I know cottages often are, but it needed much better lighting. The shower didn’t work…no water pressure at all, and went from scolding hot to freezing cold continuously. We had to rewash all the crockery and cutlery and the grill hadn’t been washed at all. There were no basics such as salt and pepper.
Upstairs was quite a challenge…no window in the second bedroom or bathroom, and the bathroom situation wasn’t great. No mirror in bathroom… my husband couldn’t wet shave.
