Krasospito 1850 - a Corfiot Wine House Reborn

We had the most unforgettable stay at Krasospito – the History of the Ruins. The house is absolutely stunning, filled with character, authenticity, and warmth. Every corner tells a story — from the beautifully preserved architecture and antique books to the traditional kitchen and the charming herbal bundles hanging from the beams. It felt like stepping into a living museum, yet with all the modern comforts we needed. The home is incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed. The three bedrooms were cozy and serene, with comfortable beds and soft linens. The bathrooms were rustic yet elegant, with lovely touches like handmade soap and traditional basins that added to the atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped and perfect for preparing meals with local ingredients. We especially loved the outdoor spaces — the peaceful garden and the ruins provided a magical setting to relax with a morning coffee or an evening drink. The location is quiet, yet still conveniently close to Bouka Beach and easy driving distance from Corfu town and the airport. Everything was spotless, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the soundproofing meant we had total privacy. We truly appreciated the attention to detail, from the curated decor to the thoughtful amenities. This is a one-of-a-kind place that feels like a secret gem. Perfect for those looking to slow down, connect with history, and immerse themselves in Corfu’s authentic beauty. We left feeling deeply inspired and can’t wait to return.

Καταπληκτική εμπειρία η διαμονή μας στο Κρασόσπιτο της Λευκίμμης. Λόγω επαγγέλματος, ο σύντροφός μου κι εγώ, γνωρίζουμε πολλά για την ιστορία της Κέρκυρας και της Λευκίμμης και μπαίνοντας στο σπίτι, η ιστορία αυτή άρχισε να ξετυλίγεται κομμάτι-κομμάτι. Τίποτε δεν έδειχνε εκεί μέσα ότι βρισκόμαστε στον 21ο αιώνα, τα πάντα, υλικά αναστήλωσης, έπιπλα, διακόσμηση το παραμικρό αντικείμενο σε παρέπεμπε στο 1800, εποχή που χτίστηκε αυτό το σπίτι για να αποθηκεύουν οι τότε ιδιοκτήτες την παραγωγή τους σε κρασί, μία από τις κύριες παραγωγές του τόπου, η άλλη ήταν το λάδι. Μολονότι όμως το περιβάλλον του σπιτιού μας πήγαινε πίσω στο χρόνο, η διαμονή μας εκεί διέθετε όλες τις ανέσεις στις οποίες έχουμε συνηθίσει σήμερα, ένας σύγχρονος τρόπος ζωής λοιπόν πίσω από το ντεκόρ του παρελθόντος. Εξαίρετος τρόπος αναπαλαίωσης του πρώην κρασόσπιτου. Όλα μέσα στο ευρύχωρο αυτό σπίτι ήταν άψογα λειτουργικά (κουζίνα, μπάνιο, ζεστό νερό, άνετα κρεβάτια, ιντερνετ,κλιματισμός) αλλά ταυτόχρονα μας έδινε έντονα την αίσθηση ότι μια χρονομηχανή μας γύρισε πίσω στο παρελθόν! Συγχαρητήρια σε όποιον εμπνεύστηκε και υλοποίησε αυτό το πρότζεκτ! Το εγχείρημα είναι πολύ επιτυχημένο.
