Gulf Coast Condos on the Sand Dunes - 102

The location is great, it’s private and yet still close to everything! The layout is great, the wrap around deck/porch was awesome and loved that it was separated from other units. It was not too far from our own “private” beach. Not technically private but basically! Now the walk there, you have to do some climbing up the sand dunes and it’s a good little hike, but we kept it light and appreciated the work out! Bed was comfy enough, towels were soft and smelled clean, very cute kitchen, couch was comfy.

We got locked out on our first day there but thank goodness they had a set of keys in a lockbox! It took about 30 minutes to get the code for the keys but not bad. Very limited things inside, 1 roll of toilet paper, no paper towels, no toiletries and no seasonings (not even salt and pepper) so we made a trip to the “grocery” store daily lol. And it’s very limited options at that store (Ship and Shore) but that was ok.

The place was super clean and comfortable. Great location, and we love the bottle brush bushes out back (Perfect for birds!).

My only issues were noisy upstairs neighbor(two big dogs running back and forth over our heads), missing and burned out lighbulbs in the living and dining areas, and unable to directly contact anyone regarding this stay. We will definitely book here again as these things are easily remedied. We may try an upstairs unit next time or recommend pets in the downstairs units only.

Location was good and the town hall provided a street parking pass with proof of rental confirmation that allowed us to park near the beach for free in three different areas near West End. This was great! The condo had plenty of sleeping areas for a larger group. Kitchen was big and it was a great place to stay overall.

One restroom is fine for our small group of three but may not be sufficient for larger groups. Although there is a beach within walking distance over the dunes, you have to pass through an area with thorns that attach to everything!
