Ankal went absolutely out of his way to help me during my visit. He helped me organise my Kheerganga trek and, because I was having trouble recharging my phone, did it for me, remotely, with unlimited data every morning. I was also able to order non-veg meals that were not on the menu. The food was great.
This was not a problem for me, but travellers should be aware in advance that the hotel is at the bottom of a very steep set of stone steps that take ten to fifteen minutes to navigate with bags. People who are not looking to climb every day should be aware of this. If you want to go to Pulga, it is a fifteen to twenty minute walk away, not including the steps. It's great exercise, though.

Our stay at Offbeat by Pack in Pulga was absolutely wonderful! The location is serene — nestled amidst lush mountains and apple orchards, offering stunning views and complete peace. The vibe of the place truly lives up to its name — offbeat, cozy, and full of positive energy. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious and freshly prepared — simple yet perfect for the mountain setting. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully done, maintaining a rustic charm without compromising on comfort.
It’s an ideal place for travelers looking to unwind, connect with nature, or just slow down for a few days away from city noise.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Pulga with a genuine community vibe. I’d love to come back!

I had a great stay at this property! The food was delicious, with a good variety and quality that made every meal enjoyable. The service was excellent—the staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The location was decent, making it convenient enough for getting around. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to others!
