Newton Calm

Very well appointed throughout, good quality fixtures and fittings. Clean, comfortable, light, airy, peaceful. Thoughtful provision of everything needed, including spare light bulbs.

The property was absolutely fine but Booking.Com and Sykes Holiday Cottages (who we booked with) need to update the address details! The property’s address is Briar Hill Farm, Newton Ferrers, PL8 1AR. We were looking out for Sykes Holiday Cottages and Court Road. When we arrived in Newton Ferrers we had a bit of daft driving around the length of Court Road. Tried to call Sykes Holiday Cottages for advice, but not available. In the end we asked in The Green cafe and they helped us find the place. We had driven past the entrance on our right signed as Briar Hill Farm not realising that was what we needed. When you drive in onto the unmade gravel road, you pass the bin store on the left and then turn down to the left where the lodges are. Newton Calm is straight down at the bottom.
