Stylish 2-Bed Camperdown Apartment with Balcony

Location, overall size and layout, parking, plenty of utensils etc

There was an issue with hot water access to kitchen and no plug for kitchen sink. There was also no aircon in bedrooms

Located opposite the park and secure parking enough for 2 cars. Spacious flat.

Money taken 2 weeks prior to beginning of stay, despite free cancellation up to 48 hrs before. Would have been a big inconvenience to go through a refund process and probably would have had to pay credit card bill in the interim. Also, the access arrangements were not sent 3days before as promised so we had to chase for them which was potentially stressful. Not sure what the promised arrival hospitality pack included? A toilet roll and a small one person carton of long life milk? Most places we stay provide a couple of pints of fresh milk, a bottle of wine, biscuits, tea and coffee (enough for 2 cups was supplied). Most of the messages they sent appeared automated or irrelevant and were swiftly followed with ‘ please disregard’. Kitchen bin was full but as we only notified them (with dated photos) prior to departure to help them review their own services, a small adjustment to the £200 cleaning bill was refused. Overall I would say it was a good rental but dealing with MadeComfy through Booking.com on behalf of a different underlying owner doesn’t easily lend itself to top tier customer focussed service in all areas. MadeComfy were good responders if a little unsympathetic when falling short but expected to charge top dollar in any case.

Lovely clean apartment in a great location with an awesome view. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Also great that there was a little supermarket just downstairs and close to bus stops making it easy to get into the city. Lots of restaurants nearby too. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

1) finding the location of the key for the apartment was really difficult. None of the photographs shown did any justice.
