The Tudor Hotel

Location is great for Airdrie and as a base for us travelling to Edinburgh. Rooms were, spotless, well decorated and a very comfy bed. Staff were great especially for my Gluten free breakfast, which was excellent.

Sadly (because everything else was great) the room was so hot and we couldn’t open windows because of a wasps nest !

Staff - reception and restaurant - were friendly, patient with enquiries and responsive to needs.

Outside our room window there appeared to be a wasps' nest. As a result we could not keep the window open and the room was rather hot and stuffy. We reported the problem and staff immediately logged the issue with pest control. I have every confidence that the issue will be dealt with and will not be a problem for future guests. However, we still had a hot, stuffy, unventilated room.

This was our second stay at Tudor house during our Scotland trip. The location was great, the rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast is good.

The only down fall is the stairs we were traveling with my elderly parents and bed being made short sheet.

The staff were lovely. Helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice and substantial.

The bedroom and bathroom were small for two people sharing. Bedroom had smeared mirror, stains on radiator and dirty skirting boards. Attention to detail required.
