W Villa 8 Kundasang

This villa has a very beautiful view, the room is also very clean, and the location is very convenient. The only downside is that the price is a bit high. You can see Mount Kinabalu from the room. It was a very good stay experience, and I would definitely come back again next time.

This is a clean, cosy and comfortable house. The view of the Kota Kinabalu Mountain is super and you can just view the sunrise from your room window. We are really enjoyed the atmosphere and scenery of the areas.

We had a truly wonderful stay at W Villa 8 Kundasang. The villa offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of Mount Kinabalu although the weather didn't do us justice — waking up to the cool, crisp air and misty mountain scenery was simply magical. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, modern yet cosy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a relaxing family getaway or a trip with friends. The living area and outdoor spaces were ideal for enjoying the scenery and spending quality time together. What stood out most was the peaceful atmosphere — quiet, private, and away from the crowds, yet still conveniently located near local attractions. The host was also responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and pleasant stay throughout. If you're looking for a serene retreat in Kundasang with stunning views and comfort, W Villa 8 is highly recommended. We would definitely return again! 🌿🏔️

There wasn’t much that we didn’t like, but there were two minor points worth mentioning. The main living area is largely taken up by the dining table, so there isn’t really a proper living room space. The two sofas provided were not quite sufficient for the whole family to comfortably sit together and chill while watching Netflix. We also noticed a rather pungent gas-like smell throughout our stay. We weren’t able to identify the source, and although we bought an air freshener, it didn’t really help much. It would be good if this could be looked into for future guests. Overall, these were relatively small issues compared to the overall experience, but addressing them would certainly make the stay even better.
