Stylist Snug Room at Vidi Condominium Chiang Mai

I have stayed at The Vidi Condo many times in different condos. This host is the best, and certainly tries to make your stay as comfortable and as easy as possible. Very clear instructions for check in and always responded very quickly to my questions. Some reviews mention the smell from the bathroom, but some things to note: smells from bathrooms very common in Thailand, every condo I have ever been in at the Vidi is the same, but the bottom line is it is not bad. There is a slight aroma - very normal. If this type of aroma is not for you then I suggest you look at another country for your holiday. The pool here is great, its big and more importantly (for me) it's in the sun so the water is warm. Some places have bigger pools (and I can think of one in particular) which looks very nice, but always in the shade so the water is always cold. But here its perfect. Close to the mountains, close to the University - a great place for morning exercise, close to local markets and restaurants.

Good location

Bathroom smelled awful from sewage

The condo was beautifully clean and although quite small it had everything I needed for my stay. The host, Amme, was superb, answering questions I had quickly and was very accommodating with my requests and I could not have asked for more. I have stayed at the VIDI condo twice before so I knew that it would be a little bit noisy being right on the road, but I like to convenience of the location so a bit of road noise is a fair trade.

I had read in reviews of other condos in the block that the smell from the drain in the bathroom was problematic. Sadly I had this experience as well and although the host did all she could to cover this, using air fresheners, etc., there were times when the smell was quite unpleasant. It didn't spoil my stay, but it did take the edge off my experience.

Great location. Well stocked kitchen with all supplies, spotless clean. Great restaurant across the street. Owner was incredible. 1st day kettle wasn't working, she replaced it right away. She accommodated our check in time, and was quick to respond to our questions prior to arrival.

The bed was softer than my liking, but that's a personal thing.
