Island staycations holiday home

We hadden ook wat tuinmeubilair verwacht en een wasrek was ook makkelijk geweest. Er was nu geen plek om was of zwemspullen te drogen. Ook was een eethoek wel prettig geweest. Qua keukengerei was er het minimale.

Like how detailed the hosts were with how to find the caravan and how helpful and friendly they were. Like that they provided essentials such as towels (even though they mention this is not included!) and toilet roll! Very clean and nicely decorated.

Upon arrival the electric did not work and reception were really unhelpful on site. The tv was a pointless addition as it had no channels and also doesn’t scan for channels. I’ve stayed at many holiday parks and the location of this caravan is awful, very noisy neighbours from almost every angle with lots of shouting early in the mornings, you can hear the children next door running up and down the caravan and the caravan nearest the bedroom you can hear their tv very late at night and residents stood outside the caravan at 4:30am having a loud group conversation. The caravan is also right beside the pathway and people walking past late evening/early morning don’t have much consideration so both nights sleep were very poor and not a restful weekend at all which was hugely disappointing. It seems the caravan park next door is probably more up market.

On the surface it looked clean .. but when I when to put food away the fridge smelt and was mouldy.. plus the oven was dirty

Plus looked at the reviews about outside noise and thought it wouldn’t be to bad but it was ridiculously loud at night people passing by shouting at all hours plus loud music playing from opposite caravan till 5-am
