Le Cocon des Bluetwins

Apartamento muy amplio y limpio bien situado. La wifi perfecta. Un balcón bastante grande. Estuvimos muy bien instalados.

Falta alguna luz en la zona de la mesa de comer-cocina. Enchufes en la cocina y en el baño para el secador o máquina de afeitar.

Appartamento grande e ben organizzato. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Parcheggio comodo. Vicino a negozi e al centro.

Had everything we needed for our stay. Was clean and comfortable considering the summer heatwave. Our host was quick to respond to questions or queries. We arrived late from the ferry but someone was still there to meet us, quite late into the evening too so thanks again for that. There is a washing machine in the bathroom but we didn't use it. Good size fridge freezer and the kitchen has most of what you would need. Some decent kitchen knives would be a good add - we made do with the steak knives. Beds are comfy. It's a 15-20 mins walk from the main town centre for plenty of bars and restuarants. Was a good base location for our trip to Normandy and suited our needs. Parking was allocated and is right outside the appartment block. Small shop and bakery literally 2 mins walk (you can literally see them from the balcony). There is a Carrefor City within 5-10 mins walk which is slightly better than the local shop. Otherwise plenty of larger supermarkets within a 10 mins drive. It's a quiet area (unless France are winning the football) and clean/safe from from what we saw.

Some of the furniture is a little dated and the old unit in the living room has nothing in it so serves no purpose. Looks nice if you're into that era. I think this space could be better utilised. The wicker chair is super uncomfortable but the sofa and armchair are comfy enough. Good wifi is available. Had to contact the host to learn how to connect to it though - no insrtructions provided in the appartment otherwise. No TV as others have mentioned but we did without it. Get rid of the old unit and modernise the appartment with a modern Smart TV and it might attract more customers / ratings. There is a smell of cigarette smoke in the main corridor outside as others have mentioned but you don't smell it at all once inside the appartment. Would benefit from some shutters on the windows like most of the other appartments in the block, Also, some fans for summer. We took our own and we defintely needed them, it would have been super uncomfortable without them. The sockets are pretty sparce so take an extension lead or two. We used the few that were there but we had to unplug some lights and appliances as a result.

Le manque d’ustensiles de cuisine et SDB : ouvre boite, bol déjeuner, tapis de bain….. Balcon non entretenu…
