The history of the house and area was appealing. Facilities were very good. Bathroom was lovely and the bedrooms were really nice.
We are an older couple and would not have made the booking had we known the location, which we assumed was closer to Launceston town as we were unable to walk the distance due to steepness of the hills. Traffic was manic in the area, it certainly is not geared around walking as pathways are very narrow and traffic does not stop apart from when there was a Lollipop lady on duty. There was no microwave in the kitchen which for us was a disappointment. The downstairs room never seemed to warm up.
