Buenacosa Resort

Buenacosa Resort offers excellent value for money. It has a cosy, homely atmosphere rather than a luxury resort, which made us feel like we were visiting relatives in a quiet countryside village. The owner and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The swimming pool was large, spotless, and beautifully maintained every morning. We almost always had it to ourselves. There is also a small outdoor kitchen and a drying rack for towels and swimwear, which was very convenient. The location is another highlight. It's only a 5–10 minute walk to Alona Beach and right next to the new Bellemar Lifestyle Center. Once more shops and a supermarket open there, it will be even more convenient.

The only downside was that the neighbour's rooster started crowing very early in the morning

The hotel was fantastic as it included everything that we needed for our stay in Bohol. Outdoor cooking area was brilliant where we cooked breakfast a few times. The bed was comfortable and the room was specious. In addition, there was also a very large Bathroom. The TV included Netflix and YouTube which we enjoyed. Our bungalow was a few steps away from the lovely swimming pool. The staff were also fantastic, offering us a ride to Alona beach. Through our own fault we forgot to do some washing up on occasions, the staff cleaned everything for us which we were very happy with (but slightly embarrassed) Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It is down a dirt road which of course is no fault of the hotel but can be hard to find at the first time.

Seit langem wieder mal ein Volltreffer wo die Bewertungen auch wiederspiegeln was man erwartet,haben hier sehr gerne übernachtet staff und Inhaber sehr zuvorkommend selten einen so sauberen Pool gesehen besten dank für alles wir kommen wieder 👍🙏🏼

Beautiful property, lovely hosts and great location. I only wish I had found it earlier so I could have stayed more nights.
