The staff was really friendly and attentive despite my lack of Chinese (well I also got an upgrade). They assisted with so many things (water, direction). You got a free ride in the morning to whichever beach around the area. There was a swimming pool, and the room was very comfortable and clean.
Location wise, it might not beat some other hotels next to the beach or touristic area, Didi can always help though. The entrance was slightly tricky to find.

The hotel is located in the city area, within convenient reach of most destinations. There are several local markets nearby. The hotel’s own restaurant serves mainly Chinese cuisine, with excellent southern‑style dishes at reasonable prices. The bustling downtown street recommended by the hotel staff is well‑worth visiting. It is not far from Sanya Bay, and it only takes a few minutes by car to reach the Duty‑Free Shopping Mall and Joy City. The swimming pool is nice with a spacious setting. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay.
