Cassia Heights 24, Royal Westmoreland by Island Villas

We arrived at the property in the evening, access was easy using the key box, the house was beautiful, large, airy and cool. The Rum Shack was open so we walked over there for dinner. In the morning we found bacon sandwiches at the Halfway House. We then set up our passes to use the pool and bus. We used the bus the first day to the beach club with sun beds and shower, but then had a rental car which allowed us freedom to explore the island and stock up on groceries. The house felt very safe and private, also conveniently located next to the clubhouse and pool. It was well located to access all of the West Coast and our favourite beaches were minutes away. The housekeeper was brilliant, she looked after us and made the beds beautifully. The two bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and benefited from walk in wardrobes. The kitchen was well equipped - the water filter jug really improved the drinking water. The location was quiet and peaceful with a glimpse of the sea in the distance. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

It would have been nice to have a welcome pack, maybe tea and coffee and a map of the Royal Westmoreland, we managed to figure out what was open and when but some people may struggle. A small snack shop / refreshments by the pool would have been nice. We were also missing hairdryers, but this was sorted out quickly. The house is a split level house and families with small children may struggle with the bedrooms on separate levels.
