Renovated apartment in the heart of Porto, a World Heritage city, with the Douro River and Port wine cellars at your feet. The apartment is located five minutes from Porto's famous Ribeira district, with its many restaurants, bars, cafes, Douro River cruises, and the new aerial cableway. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. It has a kitchenette with dining space and a bathroom with a shower. Towels and bed linen are provided in this apartment. The apartment is located on the third floor and the building does not have an elevator. Cafes, bars and restaurants - 50 meters; Tourist Bus - 50 meters; Metro Station - 300 meters; Douro River Cruises - 200 meters; Port Wine Cellars - 200 meters; Historic Area of Porto - 400 meters. Some attractions in the city of Porto that you cannot visit Don't miss: Cedofeita Church, Lello Bookstore, the Clérigos Tower, a symbol of our city (Nicolau Nasoni, eighteenth century), and the church of the same name, the Church of São Francisco, of Roman origin and with its interior decorated with gilded wood carvings. There are also several museums you can visit: Soares dos Reis, Serralves House, and Guerra Junqueiro. You also can't miss visiting the Port Wine Cellars where, in addition to a guided tour, you can also taste and savor various types of wines that exist and are characteristic of the Douro region.

The location was just what we had requested. Property was easily accessed. It is in an older section of Porto the area reflects this. Would return there. An enjoyable stay

Personally, I lacked an iron, washing machine and a place to dry laundry. could have brought less clothes. But this is compensated by a fairly convenient location and quiet neighborhood. The apartment is completely as described, the mattresses on the beds are very comfortable, great short term accommodation for a small family. Thank you for your hospitality

The property was in good condition, older building and 4 sets of stairs could be challenging after a long day of sightseeing and walking a lot. The beddings and towels were beautiful and white as can be (older materials) Communication with the host was very good and she responded quickly toOur questions prior to our arrival. There was an issue with what appeared to be a leak of water from the refrigerator t started the second day of our 6 day stay. I reported as soon as we saw it and could not figure out why it was happening. The issue could have resolved sooner, but there were some miscommunication between the host and us. Other than that, a good place to stay in Vila Nova de Gaia.
