About Maceió, some tips: Maceió is not a very large city and has a quiet nightlife compared to other capitals. The same beaches that are full of people sunbathing during the day are also an attraction for the nightlife. Walking along the boardwalks of Pajuçara, Ponta Verde, and Jatiúca is undoubtedly a lively, pleasant, and invigorating activity. If you're strolling through the area and want something more lively, head to the beach bars. Ponta Verde can be considered the nightlife hotspot in Maceió, with highlights including the Lopana and Kanoa beach bars. These bars are great for spending the day at the beach and are ideal for those who enjoy an informal atmosphere and want to listen to live music. At Lopana, one of the most beloved spots for night owls, the program varies daily, always serving good drinks. In Jatiúca, the highlight is also the numerous restaurants and bars, especially on the former Amélia Rosa Avenue, now called Antônio Gomes de Barros, but still known by its old name. Just head to Amélia Rosa and its surroundings and you'll find something to do at night. Whether you want to dance forró or have a cold draft beer with a live band, Maikai (a nightclub) is always a good choice. The venue is divided into two parts – the show bar area and the beer garden area – and both tend to attract a lot of people. It's one of the most popular places at night in Maceió and is appreciated for its diverse programming. Those who prefer something lighter can choose from some of the good restaurants in the Alagoas capital for dinner; there are several options and various types of food. For good food and drinks, be sure to visit Divina Gula, which gets quite lively at night. For those who prefer a good barbecue, just 50 meters away, on the left is Churrascaria Beach Prime, with an all-you-can-eat option for R$49.90 per person, and on the right of the building, also approximately 50 meters away, is Churrascaria Mister Grill. For those who need to go to the supermarket, in the same Ponta Verde neighborhood, you'll find Palato, Unicompra, and Bompreço supermarkets.
