About this farm stay rental

In ancient times, having a masseria meant being in a sort of small self sufficient village, with its own oil mill, oven and cellar, where olive oil, wine and dairy products were produced. The masserias were often fortified to protect themselves from the frequent attacks of pirates and bandits that characterized rural life at the time.In Puglia there are numerous masserias that still exist today, especially in the Itria Valley, and many of these have been restored and destined for tourism, still retaining many of the characteristics of the past.Masseria Nicola Casavola is an ancient masseria from 1750, recently renovated and cared for with much love and passion by the owner.
