This condo had plenty of space for 2 families of 4 and a grandmother. It was a short walk to the beach, manageable even with a cart full of stuff and two small kids and holding chairs. To get this for the price of this condo is a bargain, I believe. I did a little more research and found a lot of other houses were much, much more expensive. That being said, I was a little disappointed in the upkeep of the house. I talked to Donna and she was very willing to have someone come back and clean whatever we had issues with. She mentioned that the family that stayed before us had left it very messy and damaged a wall so the cleaning person was rushed. We chose not to have anyone come back and we had a good time. But, normally, when I go on vacation I want my vacation home or hotel to be as nice or equal to my permanent home and I think I have to spend a lot more money to get that, or lower my expectations! This home had older fixtures in the bathrooms and a few "amenities" were missed, like a detachable shower head in the guest bath tub, a disposal, a large refrigerator/freezer. Also, be sure to put the family who wakes up earlier on the second floor. We failed to do this and therefore were not able to sleep at all once our early to wake nephew was up on the 3rd floor above us. All in all, the house was fine and a great value for the location and size. In the future, if I want pristine, state of the art renovations I will need to triple my budget!
