Wellesley House 5BR Entire Home

We booked into Wellesley House as a home base while attending a nearby event. The bedrooms were all clean and spacious, and the kitchen had lots of space and two of most appliances - great for when everyone is trying to make themselves breakfast at once. The property is on a terraced residential street with free parking - while you may not get parked directly in front of the property, there was easily space for the three cars our party of eight arrived in. The property is a 15-20 minute walk from Middlesborough city centre, with the walk mostly through quiet residential streets and Teesside University's pedestrianised campus, so it was also conveniently located to explore the city, visit the MIMA and get dinner at a restaurant.

As is common in long, narrow terraced houses, the living room can get a bit tight with more than six people, and the two downstairs bathrooms are quite small - worth it to have more bathrooms for a group like ours, but worth considering if one of your party has mobility issues. Given the relatively low price per person and otherwise great accomodation, none of these were issues for my group.

The property is so clean and the beds are so comfortable everything is working well.

Area was a little run down and not what I expected to be honest. Very noisy on a night and people hanging around the gate made it a little uncomfortable.
