Mallside Retreat close to city

Lovely, clean and great value for money.

The main bed was absolutely horrible to sleep on. The mattress was not a real mattress and was only about 2 cm thick. We had to use every spare blanket from the cupboards just to make it slightly more comfortable, and for the following two nights we ended up bringing in an inflatable mattress. Lying on the floor or a plank of wood would have been more comfortable. After reading previous reviews, it’s clear this is an ongoing issue that the owners seriously need to address. It was so handy for the city and having the mall across the road was great. Sharon was a great communicator and so flexible. Thank you!! It was so clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

It was clean, good value for money and the location is great.

The way the property is designed, when it’s windy the wind catches the metal on the front of the property and makes the property sound like a loud chainsaw. It was like this from 3am so we had no sleep. The property also needs some investing in some better towels. The replaceable towels aren’t the remedy. Towels aren’t that expensive, just buy some decent towels.
