Cozy 2BR Near Ipoh Town self check in, free parking

The quality of cleanliness, facilities, proximity to landmarks, and aesthetics you get for this price is genuinely awesome. Thank you so much to Faa Yen for the prompt responses and the detailed checking in+out instructions. Facilities: Microwave, electric stove with extractor hood (we did not use, but looked new and clean), electric kettle, AMAZING washing machine with soap provided (our clothes were practically 80% dry after running a regular load). The fridge is also really powerful!! Our packet drink froze SOLID in a few hours!! Lots of plates, solid metal cutlery, mugs, and cooking utensils (even knives!) Sink has water filter and cleaning supplies :) Body soap+shampoo are provided in bathrooms! Security was good, guards were careful with checking identities, and helpful. Plenty of trash cans provided in unit and bathrooms. Cleanliness: AMAZING!!! Not a sign of mold or dirt or even a single ant! Every surface was clean, even on top and inside the shelves (we checked out of curiosity) No weird smells or stains in the toilets, beds, kitchen. Location: ~10 min drive from Concubine Lane area, really convenient :) It is a little out of the way, so it's more quiet and feels slightly secluded. Great view of river+kids from a nearby school playing on the field. Lobbies and corridors are well lit! Felt safe going downstairs alone even at 12am. Door keypad auto locks securely! Bedrooms: The rolled up towels felt like VIP treatment haha. Comfortable beds with comforters, each bedroom has its own dressing table (great for getting ready) and a long mirror to check your hair+outfit without crouching! Wardrobe had plenty of hangers provided (bring your own clothespins though!) and there is both aircon and fan Living+Dining: Loved the placemats and welcome snacks provided. the barstool area is super convenient with plug points. Couch and pillows were comfortable, TV audio was good. Aircon and fan both provided I also slept on the couch one night and I slept GOOD.

As other reviews have pointed out, there is no shower curtain. Personally we didn't really mind this! The water doesn't drain slow or anything, so we just waited around 10 mins between each person's shower. Parking was a bit confusing, but it's not the property's fault, the developer put columns everywhere, and arranged the parking lots in slanted rows (??) and the spots are labelled on the ground, so a bit hard to see while driving. I appreciate that Faa Yen provided us with a PDF file of instructions to find our parking! No plug point near the dressing table mirror and on one side of the bed, but we brought our own extension cord based on a past review's feedback so this wasn't a big deal. No real area to dry laundry but we put the hangers on the backs of the chairs and our clothes dried just fine after a 3 hour caving tour hehe. Also one of the mugs still had coffee stains, but no worries, a quick wash with the sponge provided solves it. I wouldn't consider these really big problems, and overall they didn't affect our trip or stay! :)

Krásný, velký a čistý apartmán s kuchyňským koutem, s velkou lednicí a pračkou, s výhledem na řeku a město. Po našem příjezdu nás v apartmánu mile překvapilo uvítání v podobě sušenek, minerální vody a dalšího občerstvení. Všechno bylo perfektní, majitelka nám dávala informace ohledně lokalit, které jsme mohli navštívit. Klimatizace v ložnici měla speciální kryt proti přímému foukání studeného vzduchu na postel. Tuhle vychytávku jsme dosud nikdy nikde neviděli, bylo to naprosto dokonalé. Bezplatné parkování v parkingu uvnitř budovy. Toto ubytování hodnotíme jako nejlepší za celou naši dovolenou v Malajsii.

Všechno bylo skvělé.
