EcoFriendly Scandinavian Retreat Near McLaren Vale

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The entire property has such a warm, cosy and welcoming atmosphere, with the most stunning views of the Adelaide Hills. It honestly felt like somewhere we could happily live forever! The attention to detail was incredible. Both beds were unbelievably comfortable, the heated bathroom flooring was such a luxurious touch, and the BBQ and outdoor fire facilities made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property was also exceptionally well equipped, with every cleaning product, appliance and little essential you could possibly need. It really felt like everything had been thoughtfully considered to make our stay as comfortable as possible. One of the absolute highlights was the gorgeous alpacas! Having them around made the whole experience feel even more peaceful and special. And of course, we can’t forget Bubu, the resident cat! What an absolute sweetheart and such a lovely little character who made our stay even more memorable. It’s not often you stay somewhere that makes you wish you never had to leave, but this was definitely one of those places. Between the breathtaking scenery, beautiful animals, incredible comfort and homely atmosphere, we genuinely couldn’t fault it. We would return in a heartbeat! An absolute hidden gem that we would recommend to anyone visiting the area. If we could move in tomorrow, we absolutely would! ❤️

Honestly nothing, just be aware that the owners are on the top floor, but are extremely welcoming and happy to help with anything.

Warm, clean, cosy, great views. Bed very comfortable underfloor heating in bathroom was bliss.
