Living on The Edge of Capitol Hill

Great easy location, close to where I needed to be. Lovely use of space and nice airy appearance.

The only downside was the lack of a lock on the upper entrance door, just gives an added sense of security.

Living on the Edge of Capitol Hill is such a perfectly located place to stay offering all the amenities. We visited DC for Warped tour. This place was conveniently located close to the metro which made our travel to and from a piece of cake. We were able to buy a 3 day unlimited pass which covered our travel on festival days and gave us one extra day that we took advantage of and went sight seeing to the national mall and surrounding areas. There is a burger place right below that offered delicious burgers and beverages. There are also 2 pizza places, a bar, cvs, Safeway..the list goes on. We had to run out for paper towels and laundry detergent. Other than that the apartment had everything we needed. Trash was super easy to deal with and trash bags provided. We also appreciated not having to pack as much due to it being equipped with linens, toiletries, paper, etc. Checking in and out was seamless. Especially check out, there wasn't a laundry list of things to complete. Very simple, quick, easy, and efficient. The owner was very polite, friendly, and helpful! He even answered a late message because we had locked ourselves out by trying the code too many incorrect times. I would suggest having your phone flashlight available when attempting to enter the code during the evening hours. We would absolutely return to stay here!

The only issue which wasn't too terrible, was parking. Sunday is the only free day to park. We found it easier to use the websites provided and book a spot for the duration of our stay. It's easier to use the metro since it's so close! Bring paper towels and laundry detergent/supplies if you want to utilize the washer and dryer.

Well equipped - kettle, coffee maker were great (Nespresso could not get going😞)
