Modern Margate Maisonette close to Beach by Adliv

The children loved the toys which were a nice touch. The kitchen was so well equipoed and nicely done. Lovely snacks. Good to have a bath and a separate shower. Extremely spacious upstairs. Being only a Road from the beach was nice. The agents were so quick to answer and help. Plenty of hot water. Nice cafe opposite for takeaway breakfast.

The property is down a side alley, above and behind a row of shops on a main Road. The windows are single glazed at the front so you can hear all the traffic. We stayed during a heatwave so rooms were sweltering.ñ and you couldn’t leave the Windows open for the children because of the noise. Big Sofa bed downstairs but not all the windows have blinds to block light.

Good sized bedrooms and enough bathrooms for our group. Nice to have outdoor space as well.

The smart lock for the front door was a little temperamental

We had a very comfortable stay at the property. The house has three good-sized bedrooms, with a cloakroom on the lower floor, one small en-suite, and an additional bathroom upstairs for the other rooms. It is pet-friendly and kid-friendly, which made the stay even more convenient for us. The porch is also a great added feature. The location is excellent, Although not beach facing place it’s actually across the road but it’s just a 5-minute walk from the beachfront. A Tesco Express is directly opposite the property, which was extremely convenient for quick groceries and essentials. Street parking was also easy and manageable. The property is around 0.8-1 mile from the high street and main pier, so it is close enough to everything while still being quiet and peaceful. On a nice day, the house gets natural light, which makes the space feel bright and welcoming.

Overall, the property was quite clean and well maintained. Given that it is so close to the beach, there can be a few minor issues here and there, but the host was very kind, responsive, and quick to arrange cleaning and housekeeping whenever needed. We were travelling with an infant, so we were probably a bit more particular than usual, but overall we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Booking.com said there was air conditioning but there isn’t . In summer it was very hot in the bedrooms
