My wife and I were traveling in Naples, and we were lucky to stay at RisingSun. It is a vintage, artistic apartment filled with aesthetics, warmth, and a true sense of comfort. The ceilings are incredibly high, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning. The welcoming hostess, Lina, with her gentle and pleasant energy, has created this place with great love, and we are deeply grateful to her for the warm reception, trust, and support. The living conditions fully match the description — the apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and even more. Lina has excellent taste, and the interior she designed is truly beautiful and aesthetically refined. Throughout our stay, communication with the hostess was excellent, and she was always ready to help with any questions. There were also two incredibly intelligent and well-mannered cats, Peppino and Toto, who stayed in our hearts forever, as we are great cat lovers. Like true guardians of the apartment, they are large, beautiful, and gracefully welcomed and saw us off each day. Every morning we watched the sunrise — even though we usually love to sleep in, these sunrises became some of the best moments of our lives. The rising sun over Vesuvius and ancient Naples creates an impression that is very hard to put into words. It is truly mesmerizing. In fact, the view is breathtaking at any time of day. Staying here became one of the highlights of our journey. This is not just a place to sleep — it is a space where you recharge your soul, restore inner balance, and awaken a deep sense of inspiration and joy. We truly value this experience and wish every traveler to feel these same emotions. We rented a car, and it was always possible to park not far from the house — there were usually free spaces available. We recommend approaching from the upper side via Via Ponti Rossi, as the lower entrance is quite a challenge even for very confident drivers: narrow, winding, and chaotically parked.

It was just a bit chilly cold. But nothing serious, we were out most of the time.

The view is amazing. The hostess was friendly face to face. We actually like cats (and they were friendly, too), but whoever doesn’t, shouldn’t stay there, as they showed up everywhere in the shared areas, even on the dining table.

Lack of privacy (e.g. we couldn’t lock the door to our bedroom, also, the shared bathroom had really squeaky doors and the lock was unreliable). Lack of trash cans in our room or in the bathroom. Mismatched cups, access to only very few kitchen utensils, even though there was a fully equipped kitchen for the owner’s use. Too many “house rules” repeated without saying “please”, it made us feel less than welcome and on edge about following all the rules correctly, like walking on eggshells. It didn’t feel relaxing.
