I had such an incredible stay in the desert!! If you’re visiting the region, I really recommend staying at least 2 or 3 nights to really experience it. Like exploring the dunes, visiting nomadic villages, enjoying picnics in the desert, and trying activities like quad biking, jeep tours, or camel rides. The sunsets over the dunes, and the starry nights are unforgettable.. The camp is very comfortable and authentic. I actually slept better there than in some riads in Morocco! The beds are very good with thick blankets, and there are showers, toilets, and electricity. The food was also delicious!! In the evenings, we would all gather around the fire to talk and dance while the Amazigh played the djembe and sang under a sky full of stars. It was magical. A huge thank you to Hmad, who made the experience even more special. He is a very fun driver in the jeep, he taught me how to play the djembe, and always took the time to share his culture and stories. You can really feel that he loves what he does and wants everyone to have an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for an authentic desert experience with welcoming locals, I highly recommend Hmad and this beautiful desert camp!!
