Lovely property. Green and pretty. Nice pool. Great restaurant. Good breakfast.
AC in only one bedroom when the description said there was AC everywhere. And 2 of the rooms have no window. It’s pretty gloomy. Living room is very tiny.

Beautiful complex of small apartment/rooms situated in tree lined gardens with large pool. Excellent restaurant on site. Lovely bed and bedding. Large bathroom and small but well equipped kitchenette. No washing machine. Easy access to buses at the end of the road. 10 min walk to lovely beaches and maybe 20 mins to the station/centre of town. Staff were all really lovely and helpful and spoke good English. Lots of chairs and beds around the pool. Small corner shop nearby, expensive but good for basics. Would recommend this accommodation, there is also a hotel and spa on site. We didn't use either of these.
We had a lovely time here and would come back, but just a couple of things, This was an expensive stay for us, and there were a few things we would have expected to be better for the money. There was a conservatory type room attached to our room with table and chairs and horrible net curtains, which was great for storage, but not sure what its use was as too hot to sit in, plus very dirty roof and windows, it either needs a bit of a make over or remove it. There was no seating outside our room, but plenty around the pool. The room was full of flies and bugs on arrival (presume the door was open while it was cleaned) spent 30 mins trying to kill some very large bugs, made the room feel dirty, apparently bugs / flies are a problem around this area. We didn't seem to have the problem for the rest of our stay. Bath mat was stained. As there are a lot of trees, the pathways and pool had lots of leaves and made it look untidy. Car parking was very expensive, just increase the room rate to include it and then guests think they are getting a good deal as parking is free! There is parking on the road outside. As we were on a 6 week road trip we needed to store some stuff in our car so needed it close by. It is popular with families so the pool was very noisy at times, mainly from the parents shouting at their children!!

The location was very nice and staff were pleasant, although we only interacted with someone near the pool once, and the reception staff. The apartment was very spacious; the grounds and landscaping were nice.
The pool was too warm (I don't know if that's because of the outdoor temp or whether it was heated, but it was not very refreshing. Also, it was only open until 7 pm. I understand that is because it is right next to the restaurant and they wanted to keep the noise down around dinner time, but when you're out enjoying the sights and get back in the evening, a dip in the pool would be nice and there was not that option. The apartment ambience was not very inviting - without decor, it felt rather "cold." Getting to the room was very hard to navigate with heavy luggage and for people with some mobility challenges - this should have been disclosed. This was definitely a "no frills" place. We had no napkins, paper towels, containers to store leftovers. In short, the kitchen area was bare bones, no nice amenities at all. There was no help offered regarding where to do shopping, laundry, etc. I expected onsite laundry (my fault for assuming but with an apartment like this at that price, I just assumed). When we needed something, we had to make the trek up to the reception area. It was also a bit hard to communicate before arrival.
