Noel Cottage

Very friendly staff, they are ready to help you as much as possible. The room is a bit small, but for 2 persons enough. The dipping pool is a nice extra, especially with kids. The breakfast is okay, only later than the time you ordered it to be ready. The cottage does not have a public restaurant for dining, but they cooked for us as we ordered. And it was delicious and reasonably priced. The surroundings are beautiful. The beach is nice and with real powdery sand. The location has some small shops and restaurants nearby, but there is not much choice.

There was not a good place to sit or lie down on a sunbed in the shadow. Therefore it was quite hot at the accommodation. The wind was coming from the wrong direction, so it could be better in another season i think.

We had a really nice stay overall. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with arranging a scooter, trips, transfers, and anything else we needed — truly great service. The accommodation offers good value for money and is in a great location. Just don’t expect luxury when traveling to the Kei Islands.

On the downside, there was construction work happening right in front of our bungalow during our stay, which blocked the view and was quite disturbing at times. The breakfast is very basic — it would be nice to see more variety, especially fruits and vegetables. Additionally, there were no sunbeds or any cozy seating on the terrace, which made it less enjoyable to relax and take in the view.
