K-WON Stay

Perfect location in a lively and cool part of Seoul. Ran by really kind and friendly people who gave great location recommendations! Rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious with great facilities - the best place I stayed in Seoul compared to 4 other places I stayed. Really great place - I would come here again for sure!

Comfy bed, very clean, close to 2 train stations, good air conditioning. My room was spacious like a studio. Happy there was a lift. Close to lots of great restaurants and a food market.

I had a little kitchenette in my room but there wasn’t a single piece of cutlery or crockery. They provided a kettle and no cups or spoons to even make a cup of tea! No hangers to hang any clothes. There is no shower cubicle , the shower rail head is attached to the side of the sink and you stand inbetween the sink and the toilet. Not suitable for a large person.

I must say - the K-WON stay is one of the best places I've stayed on my trip in Seoul. And not because of great amenities or standard things that all standard hotels have (it's nothing wrong about that), but because of how social and interesting the stay was. First of all - the location (Mangwon) is great if you want to explore that district and Hongdae. Mangwon is very local, you can find so many great places to eat, drink and to shop. Secondly, the room was big enough for me and it was a comfortable stay. Oh, and that it had the nets on windows against mosquitos - super big advantage, so I did not need to use the provided AC. Thirdly - Peter made sure that it will be a great stay. Such a nice person and that he organised a few dinners together with other people - was just awesome :) And finally, I've met so many cool people there, and it is especially great when you travel solo. The biggest advantage is that it is not a hostel (so you don't need to share your room with gazillion of people) but it is also a very social place. Big big thanks to Peter and the team behind for such a wonderful stay! <3

I don't think I have anything to add here.

This place is very convenient, clean and comfortable, especially if you’re on a tight budget. Everything you need is there; a shared free washer/ dryer with free laundry detergent, a shared kitchen bowls, utensils, cups and cooking equipments, microwave and fridge in the room, private wet bathroom with shampoo and body wash and even slippers are provided. The air conditioner is strong and works well and you’re provided with access codes to go in and out of the room and property so it’s really convenient and efficient! Peter, the manager there is very kind and friendly, he also speaks English perfectly so it’s very easy to communicate with him. He will also send you all the details and recommendations he has once you book your stay! Another plus side is the location, less than 10 mins walk to the train station, 5 mins walk to the market and 20 mins walk to the river. All in all, we truly enjoyed our 4 day stay there!

If you don’t mind the room being small, then go ahead and book it! That’s pretty much the only thing I can find that can be slightly improved, unless you like it cozy! :)
