The house is spacious and has some views of the Akaroa Harbour. The location is private and not far from the waterfront, about 3 minutes drive to the main street. The garden of Tane is nearby for walks/lookouts.
The property felt lack of care and wasn't as clean as expected, especially given the $250 cleaning fee. Some of the bedrooms lacked heating, which made our stay in mid-July rather cold. Additionally, the outdoor bins were completely full of trash left behind by previous guests when we arrived and were never cleared.
