Laguna Apartment at Govino Resort, Gouvia

Great location, apartment is privately owned in a fantastic complex, lots of green space, pool, cafes etc and the owner was very helpful with any questions.

Not much to dislike about the apartment, not the most modern and maybe needing a few bits and pieces updated/upgraded but overall very little I would complain about, would certainly recommend to others.

We loved it!

Nancy is a great host. Communication was very easy with her. She recommended places where to eat and what to see. Her apartment is very close to the pool area which makes life comfortable if you stay in the resort. The whole area of the resort is green and well-gardened. We enjoyed staying there!!!

Excellent relaxing base for our family holiday and for day-trips around the island.

The complex of apartments was nicely laid out and spaced so it felt like more of an oasis rather than a commercial site. Access to the well maintained and generously sized swimming pool was great. The location was great as we were within easy walking distance from a supermarket, fishmonger, butcher, fresh fruit/veg seller for everyday items. For eating out Romeos was close by and a little drive away (a bit dicey to walk to) was Emeral, that had lovely fresh bread, cakes and amazing ice creams. We were very pleased with the responsiveness of our host, as one night neighbours were partying until the early hours. When I asked what I could do about it the next morning, Nancy immediately passed a complaint on to the complex's reception team and it didn't happen again. The large number of birds constantly flying around the complex was lovely and a great novelty.

The sleeping arrangements with two doubles on the mezzanine level wasn't ideal with a child, so we had to split at bedtimes so that one of us was with our child in the cool downstairs bedroom (in the comfy bed) and the other was up in the open mezzanine sleeping area (less comfy beds). Despite this it wasn't something we couldn't manage and would be fine for teenage children. The upstairs beds didn't have mattress toppers so weren't as comfortable but this wouldn't be a problem for most folks.

Superb

Comfortable location, for traveling with bus (number 7 if you like go to Kerkyra town) or rent a car at ( Sluta Leta rent a car) to visit all island.Friendly owners.

Short working hours at pool , beach close to the accommodation area not the best in the Corfu. If you like to have nice clear water beach close to the hotel, then this bay is more like a lake.

Superb

The Appartment and the Govino Bay resort were really beautiful. Nancy our Host replied to every request within minutes. Communication was excellent. Resort and pool area, the bar and the personnel were great. Had some issues with our rental car and everyone was very supportive. Mini market on resort grounds had everything you need. Gouvia is close and has many great restaurants.

The Laguna is a great view but would not recommend it for swimming. Corfu has many other beautiful beaches which you can visit.

Wonderful place

Host Nancy made our stay very memorable. The accommodation was everything we hoped for. Perfect location and situated near the beach and with a beautiful garden with lots of amazing olive trees surrounding us. We will definitely be back to enjoy this stunning island.

Exceptional

Great position! Very cute decorated apartment. About 15 minutes from Corfu historical center. Bus station just outside. Lots of restaurands, pubs, supermarkets, all in a walking distance. The resort is wonderful with big garden and swimming pool with free sunbeds and nice view. Opening all windows of the living room, makes you feel like being in a big veranda. The host is a very nice and gorgeous person, always available to answer all our questions.

Nice location, well kept grounds

Location was good. The property had a nice pool and all amenities were provided for us. Cute decor. Perfect for a couple—downstairs room had its own a/c and was very comfy. Upstairs rooms are good for people who don’t mind being a bit warm when temps outside are high.

Hit or miss with the hot water. Half of us got hot showers the other half did not. You have to turn the water heater on before bathing. Several times all the power went off while we were out. Upstairs lofts were a bit too warm, even with fans. One upstairs room had some ants in it.
