Caserio El Olivo

Very nice and tranquil atmosphere. Comfortable house with pleasant terrace and wide view over the mountains and the village. Wonderful place to ease down. Swimming pool big enough (unlike many other locations found in the South)' temperature luckily just high enough to swim second half of April. Both pool and house were nice and clean. The village nice as well. Especially in the mornings. And good tips from Maria for places to visit.

Nothing really bad. Just be aware that the road is a little bit more difficult to drive especially with larger cars (difficult junction next to a building just outside the village and steep last few meters down to the house. But the second time driving by you get the hang of it. Only tip: maybe one or two additions to the facilities outside for children to play with (although we can understand to keep it quiet as well).

We loved the the peace and tranquility of the house which is entirely self contained, well equipped,comfortable, characterful and spotless. Oliver and Maria live beneath the property on a lower level - house is built on a terrace. The pool is amazing and is shared with another let some distance away at the end of a separate part of a large plot. That said we had the place to ourselves for the week we stayed. Sitting on the terrace looking over the mountains and watching the light change - peaceful and magic. However, it is still within easy reach of the town - we did not bring a car. Oliver and Maria were very kind and helpful. There were lots of little extras provided which we much appreciated. I have no hesitation in fully recommending this lovely place.,

We had the most wonderful holiday staying at Caserio El Olivo, the property is absolutely stunning! The view off the balcony is just beautiful and a great place to sit and relax. We found the property very clean and tidy, with sufficient utensils for the family. The beds were extremely comfortable, and good air con for those warm summer nights. The swimming pool was also a great place to relax and kept very clean. It also offers a baby pool. There was a swing and play area for children and our three year old daughter had a wonderful time. The property is about a 15 minute walk into town, with stunning views along the way. Lots of great restaurants in Órgiva and plenty to see and do. Oliver and Maria couldn’t have been more helpful and made sure we had a great holiday experience.

Really easy communication with owner and very easy to find once in Orgiva - very well sign posted. On arrival I was stunned at how good the place looked, better than in the photos! Really spacious, super clean and very high quality fittings and furniture. It's a wide bright and spacey penthouse with a separate entrance in an elevated position - giving mouth watering views! All the rooms are connected to the terrace. Even though it was really hot, it was cool and comfortable inside - excellent Aircon! The environment was calm and quiet - very peaceful and lovely and green - lots of tress and flowers. There was a well furnished terraces with bbq, easy to use and vert clean. The pool was amazing!!!! A brine pool - a really good size and spotless - a great place to relax! Each guest has their own pool area, sun lounger and umbrella and there are excellent views of the valley and the mountains The perfect place to relax, recover and explore! Only ten minutes walk into the town of Orgiva!!!! I will return - can't wait ❤️
