Lake View Inn

Lovely quiet location. Pretty cold until the fire was roaring each night.

Wasn’t as clean as we would keep our own house. Couldn’t run both the drier and washing machine without one of the power points failing. Bathrooms very old and tired and nowhere to put shampoo etc in the shower except on the floor where it all slid around due to the shower base being on an angle. No coffee machine Hole in the hallway wall needed patching/attention Oven was filthy and all the non stick pans were peeling which meant we couldn’t cook on the stove.

It needs curtains no privacy.

The wood heater was great, kept the place cosy. The lake view was beautiful. Bed was comfortable.

1. Rats scratching in the ceiling (kitchen area). 2. Hole in the wall in a hallway (when you enter from the garage it is on your right about 15cm in diameter). 3.The whole house needs painting and some renovation. 4. The first night I had a message from the host (while I was sick in bed) accusing me of making lots of noise - having a party at the property. I had not seen the message, but there was also a missed call from the host at 10:45pm the same night. Next morning I found the message with another message threatening with eviction and penalties. I am 77 year old female and was in the house alone and sick with cold at that time. I replied to the email just that. I wanted to know why would someone be accusing me and ring me from the host number at 10:45pm. Still waiting for an explanation. I guess apology would be too much to expect.
