Partial Ocean View! 2 Queen Studio w/ Private Deck (312)

This location was perfect near the beach and with a restaurant right next door. The room was clean and modern and the deck was amazing. The parking was a little tricky since some cars were illegally parked in the lot and the spaces were small. Check in was 3 pm and at 3:10 I brought our bags up to the third floor only to find it still being cleaned. I went to the office and asked them to notify me when it was ready so I did not have to keep checking. The cleaner said 30 minutes at the most. At 4 I went to the office to ask for an update because we had not been told it was ready. She called the cleaner who said it was ready. So that wasn’t great. I feel like they should have alerted me that it wasn’t ready at the check in time. Versus me having to check a couple of times once it was late. But otherwise it was good.

The property was exactly what was pictured. The deck was WONDERFUL, with an ocean view and clear screens to protect you from the wind. If your goal is to only sleep in the room then it is well designed, but if you plan to stay for more than two nights, and spend some of your time in the room reading and playing games, then you will be disappointed. It has been a few days, but I think there was only one chair. There is a small fridge but there were no tools for preparing a picnic lunch- no knife, no cutting board, no strainer, no washcloth or dish towels for cleaning up. The room sleeps four but there were only three plates. This is a room for sleeping only and you should expect to eat all your meals out. This probably works for some people but didn’t fit with how we prefer to travel. However, spending time on the patio was very nice.
