Black Cabin Veluwe – Wellness in the Forest - Air Conditioning • Sauna
Looking to cool off on hot summer days? Thanks to the air conditioning and its shady location in the woods, Black Cabin Veluwe is the ideal base from which to explore the Veluwe. Hike or bike right into the Speulder and Sprielder forests, and unwind in the Finnish sauna after an active day. Here, you can enjoy peace, nature, and comfort all year round.
The Space
The Black Cabin Veluwe is a stylish and comfortable place where you’ll feel right at home. The cabin features two bedrooms, both equipped with air conditioning. One bedroom has French doors, so you can wake up to the sound of birds singing and the scent of the forest. The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds. A crib is also available.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and a separate shower. In the cozy living room, you can relax with a movie or one of the many board games. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook together.
Outside, you’ll find several lovely seating areas surrounded by greenery, where you can have breakfast, read a book, or enjoy a good glass of wine in the shade of the trees.
From the cabin, you can walk right into the Speulder and Sprielder forests. It’s a five-minute bike ride to Klimbos Garderen, take a refreshing dip at Bosbad Putten, or explore the Schovenhorst Estate.
In the mood for a terrace or a good restaurant?
The charming Veluwe villages of Garderen and Putten are nearby. After an active day in the Veluwe, the Finnish sauna is the perfect way to end the day.

On Sundays, the supermarkets in Putten and Garderen are closed. However, some restaurants are open. In Ermelo, supermarkets are open on Sundays starting at 12:00 PM.
Are you arriving with more than one vehicle? There is only space for one vehicle in front of the cabin. Please park a second vehicle 40 meters away in the general parking lot.
To use the sauna, please bring your own large bath towel, slippers, and a bathrobe.
