John is a very present host and cares about his property. The house itself is spectacular and the views are stunning! It's close in proximity to downtown.

My kids and grandkids all thanked me profusely for finding this place. Everyone got his or her own bedroom (all with beautiful views and comfortable beds and nearby bathroom) so we could have privacy (there were 9 of us) as well as fun together in the lovely big open kitchen (cooked our turkey in the oven!) and on the sofa in front of the fireplace. We all enjoyed challenging hiking on the nearby Appalachian trail and the teens played in the game room too. Helpful Host, Best house we ever stayed in.
