About this villa rental
In an exceptional, idyllic and peaceful natural environment, these 2 comfortable houses can accommodate 10 people (2*5) thanks to their 2 dedicated bedrooms upstairs and up to 14 (2*7) people using the sofa beds in their lounge area.
Sheltered by a pretty Provençal tiled roof, these houses offer, in a semi-detached way, each has its own covered terrace with barbecue and its own private garden overlooking a large communal garden.
The Park is made up of shrubs and trees of different species, scents and colours, but the majesty of the Pines, some of which are several hundred metres high, dominates.
From the gardens of the houses, your gaze will linger on the blue of the bay of Pinarello through the trees or on the ponds that extend to the foot of the residence and are protected ornithological and aquatic areas (Natura 2000 Zone). The beautiful mountains of Corsica stand proudly in the background and the sunset captures them with a soft and intense color palette whose light varies depending on the day.
The Residence's communal swimming pool and its beach, all redone in resin in 2024, brings swimming pleasure whatever the time of day.
Located on a peninsula, the beach borders the entire northern part of the surroundings of the Residence. Preserved still in this place, it will delight you by its beauty but also by the low slope side which will secure young and old, allowing you to enjoy even warmer water, earlier or later in the season and by the diversity of its coastline bringing together in this place the advantages of sand and the beginning of rock and its aquatic life...
Other things to note
The village of Pinarellu is located just 10 minutes away by bike, 15 min walk by the beach, the walk is particularly pleasant in summer evenings. The crossing can be done by Paddle also for the more adventurous with a feeling of infinite freedom by advancing in a starry sky stars when they are reflected in mirror on the surface of the often laminar and wrinkleless sea at night.
There is a small but very nice panoramic trail called the "Smugglers' Trail" which starts from the eastern part of the beach and heads toward the east of the peninsula. It allows you to walk all around the nearby island.
There are a few small sections along the trail where caution should be exercised. I highly recommend (to be properly shod) to walk there, especially in April, May and June, when the flowers bloom and the air is scented with a variety of beautiful floral scents that are both intense and subtle...
The morning walk at early morning sunrise is worth the trip, as well as the satisfaction of the ford to reach the island of Pinarellu and its well-preserved Genoese Tower at its highest point, a remnant of the "real telephone" mesh of the time. Think about the swimsuit when crossing! :-)
and why not push the walk to Vilatta Beach by the edge and marvel at the different small coves, taste the magnificent water of this bay and possibly continue the adventure on its southern part which is a Nudist area, please respect the particularity, the calm of the place and the "habits and customs" ("no textiles here"😄)...
You can take a path on the way back, through the maquis, much faster, with rich and mixed smells.. and the circle will be complete :-)
