Take in the breathtaking views of Lake McQueeney from the living and dining areas of this stunning two-story custom home, set on a 1.3-acre lot surrounded by towering trees. Built in 1988 and recently remodeled, this lakefront property offers 7 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, a spacious game room, and a private boat dock. With room for up to 20 guests, it`s the perfect retreat for large groups. Enjoy 200 feet of waterfront, ideal for swimming and floating, along with several outdoor seating areas—highlighted by a grand boat deck, a large swim deck, and cozy patio spaces. For even more fun, you’re just minutes away from floating the Comal or Guadalupe River, a day at Schlitterbahn water park, or a quick 20-minute drive to New Braunfels. The San Antonio River Walk is less than 45 minutes away, and Austin is just under an hour`s drive. We invite you to gather with friends and family and make lasting memories in the Hideaway Haus at Lake McQueeney.
Must be 25 years or older, provide a copy of drivers license and credit card must be on file to book. Credit card is for any damages or violations, such as - broken items, damaged items, damaged linens, towels, left over trash or excessive mess that the cleaning crew needs to address. If house needs additional cleaning time due to trash left out or house is not taking care of and additional cleaning fee of $500 will be collected. Any damages will be the responsibility of the guest and remitted within 2 days of invoice.
Please be aware that if smoking is detected in the home, there will be a fine of $1,500 associated with it. This measure helps us manage the impact on the property and ensure compliance with our no-smoking policy.
Please make sure all trash is bagged up and put in the trash cans provided outside the house. All dishes, rinsed, and put in the dishwasher. All food and trash off the counters and put in the trashcan any food in the freezers or refrigerators to be taken with you or thrown away.
Excessive cleaning will have an additional charge of $750.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home on Lake McQueeny. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a relaxing and fun getaway. From morning coffee on the deck, the awesome views of the area and lake, and the convenience of being somewhat close to Gruene and NB, every moment was peaceful and memorable. The home had everything we needed and more. It was clear a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable and welcome.A special shoutout to Shannon, the property manager, and Jack the owner who was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. They both made the entire booking and check-in process smooth and stress free.We’re already looking forward to our next stay and will definitely be booking again with the same wonderful hosts. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat or fun stay in the area!
