About this apartment rental
Luxurious and laid back in the heart of downtown Talladega and a one block stroll from the Historic Ritz Theatre, this home is the last of it's kind on the old church side of North St E. Staying here, you feel the character and history facing the 1834 Presbyterian Church. The apartment is complete with a beautiful balcony, full kitchen, laundry, two claw foot bathrooms, one with a shower fixture, two King bedrooms, a sitting room with mini fridge and Keurig, and a play/art studio/ library room. This beautiful 1904 Queen Anne Victorian is our primary residence. We are renovating the first floor to be an upscale private lodging and events hosting space in the coming months. We're happy to show you around and you're welcome to use the wrap around front porch, back deck and courtyard. Your upstairs sitting room has a queen size air mattress for extra sleeping arrangements and breakfast may be served in the dining room on the first floor by request. You have access to the entire upstairs apartment and the porches and courtyard below. We'll give you a tour of the first floor spaces by request. We can be reached by messaging anytime. Please don't hesitate. We do our best to respond quickly. Wave to Mr. Melvin at the garage next door. Everybody knows Mr. Melvin and that's why you'll hear an occasional honk from passers by:) On the other side is a very quiet law office. Talladega rolls up the streets at 6pm so you'll feel like you have the whole downtown area to yourselves. You can play music on the balcony into the wee hours of the morning if you wish. The closest neighbor is up on the hill and the sound doesn't carry that far. We sleep in the back of the first floor. You won't disturb us a bit. Please make yourself at home.
