THE RED WOODEN HOUSE (72 m² of living space) features high ceilings, is spacious, and is both practical and elegant. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, formerly with two single beds), a spacious bathroom (with a bathtub featuring a whirlpool function), and a large living room with an open kitchen and a fireplace.
All doors in the house are 1 meter wide. This means every corner of the house is accessible by wheelchair.
The spacious carport is situated on the side of the house and provides a covered entrance. This allows you to bring your vacation luggage and groceries directly from the car into the house without getting wet. And a wheelchair can roll directly from the car into the house.
We are happy to welcome seniors, people who need assistance, young families with small children, and couples looking for a vacation, as well as artists who want to work in peace for a while. We, your hosts, are former theater professionals.

LIVING ROOM / DINING ROOM / KITCHEN
When you enter the house, you’ll find yourself right next to the large coat closet. There you can store jackets, coats, caps, hats, and shoes. You’ll immediately have a clear view of the entire living area. Take two steps and you’ll find yourself right in front of the open kitchen area. So it’s just a short walk to put away your groceries.
When you enter the house, you’ll immediately notice the cathedral-like ceiling height. Combined with excellent insulation, it ensures the house stays pleasantly cool in the summer. The house is built to residential standards. The floor-to-ceiling living room window, the light wood of the ceiling sloping up toward the gable, and the reddish terracotta tile floor make the house feel sunny at all times. In the fireplace corner stands the elegant Danish wood-burning stove, resembling a column-like sculpture. With it, you can heat the entire house in no time at all during cold weather.

SUSTAINABILITY.
We place a high value on sustainability: The house, built in 2021, was constructed to the standards of an energy-efficient home. Our electricity comes from GREEN PLANET ENERGY. We heat with infrared electric heaters, a proven sustainable way to heat. On the roof, we have two SOLAR SYSTEMS, one with a storage tank (since 2025). Waste separation is a given—we have our OWN WASTE STATION on the property. There is also a bin for ORGANIC WASTE. In addition, we have our own CHARGING STATION with an electricity meter for ELECTRIC CAR DRIVERS. In this regard, our house is UNIQUE in the neighborhood.

GENERAL LOCATION
The house is located in a vacation home community in the heart of the Burtanger Moor Nature Reserve on Lake Neuringer Moor. There are just over 20 other vacation homes of various sizes surrounding the lake. The vacation park was established in 2006 by the Niers family, who operate a horse farm with a small petting zoo and a children’s playground in the front part of the park.
The large parcel of land on which the vacation park is located is owned by the Niers family.
The gravel paths are lined with trees and shrubs. The houses are all privately owned and managed individually by their owners. As a result, pricing varies considerably.
Right next to the vacation home park is a large indoor children’s play paradise, which also features a large outdoor playground.
On Sundays, the Niers family offers a lavish brunch buffet in their event hall, “Im Reitstall.”
