About this apartment rental
A private guesthouse on the quiet lower level of a Streetsville home, with its own garden entrance and the whole floor to yourself. Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living area with a dedicated workspace make it comfortable to settle into. You are private from the owners upstairs, a five-minute walk from the river and village shops, and a short drive from Streetsville GO, the airport, and the city centre. It suits a couple, a small family, or someone in town for work.
The space
The whole lower level is yours, private from the home above with a separate entrance off the back garden. It is set up to live in, not just to sleep.
Living area
A comfortable sofa, gas fireplace, and a 55-inch Smart TV with streaming. A dedicated desk and chair in the same room, so working from here is easy, backed by high-speed Wi-Fi.
Kitchen
Fridge, stove, oven, and microwave, plus coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. Properly stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware, down to the basics like oil, salt, pepper, and
spices. Bar stools at the counter make an easy spot for breakfast.
Bedrooms
Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, premium bedding, and a 50-inch TV. The primary has a cedar closet, a dresser, and a chair to read in. The second has its own fireplace, a dresser, and a
full-length mirror.
Bathroom
A modern bathroom with a glass-door shower, fresh towels, a hairdryer, and toiletries to start your stay.
Outside
A hot tub tucked into the greenery, a large wooden deck with seating, and a gazebo with lounge furniture.
A washer and dryer are available for your use, along with an iron and three TVs with streaming throughout.
The neighbourhood
Streetsville is known as the Village in the City, a walkable stretch of cafes, boutique shops, and trails. The Credit River is a five-minute walk for a morning by the water. Streetsville GO is about
eight minutes away and Toronto Pearson about fifteen, with Square One, Mississauga City Centre, and the 401, 403, and 407 all a short drive.
Guest access
You have the entire lower level guesthouse to yourself, with your own private entrance off the back garden. Laundry is shared, with private access of your own. The home above is owner-occupied, so some minimal household sound from upstairs is possible. Out back you can use the hot tub, deck, and garden.
One free parking space is included, on the left side of the driveway.
Other things to note
🔑 Check-in is keyless and easy. A unique code is sent by message on the morning of arrival, and you enter through the walk-through gate by the driveway.
🌡️ There is no thermostat in the suite, so the temperature is set and adjusted for you. Just message your preferred setting and it is handled promptly.
🧼 The suite is cleaned and sanitized with toxic-free products, and stocked to start you off with coffee and tea, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush towels.
🏠 There are motion-sensor lights on the property, at the entry and at the back of the outdoor space.
